Britney Eurton bid a tearful goodbye to watchers of FanDuel TV Tuesday after working with the network as a paddock host and reporter for the last nine years.

“I never thought I would work in horse racing,” Eurton said in the segment announcing her departure. “But everybody in the industry knows, when you fall in love, it never leaves you. I have experienced some of the greatest moments in all of sports watching horse racing and I've made some lifelong friends. I am so very, very grateful for that.”

Eurton, the daughter of trainer Peter Eurton, thanked Kevin Grigsby, executive producer and senior vice president at FanDuel TV, for taking a “leap of faith” in hiring her nearly a decade ago.

Of her future plans, Eurton said, “I am going to focus my attention on some other opportunities. But horse racing is in my DNA and it will always be a part of my story. So I will say so long for now, not a good bye. And I will see you at the races.”

In addition to her work at FanDuel TV, Eurton also serves as a reporter for NBC Sports' horse racing coverage, which includes the GI Kentucky Derby and GI Preakness S., as well as the Breeders' Cup.
